The Gap Series tells of intrigue, betrayal, and destruction on the one hand; and, faith, hope, and love on the other. It is set in what may be a gap between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2. The Gap Series will include at least three books, Faith, Hope, and Love and may include many more.

JM Hawks does not advocate the efficacy of the theology of a gap, but acknowledges both the possibility of one and our great God's ability to create, and order the lives of, other and different beings at will. He is the Creator of all life and is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8); thus it seems possible that He may have created others before us. The Gap Series: Faith

The oppressive leader of a violent and pleasure-loving race, The Prince, seeks to destroy those who escaped him in a well-planned scheme devised by his former lover, Joend. As part of his campaign of terror, he institutes a policy of brutalization and cannibalism of captives and encourages the development of sorcery with which to control his fleet of great and fearsome livitons. Hope is the continuing story line from Faith; it is the second book of this trilogy and currently is a work in progress.

Love will conclude this trilogy, although JM Hawks may write other novels about the characters and time period.
